About SALTWM

We began as a small team of Speech and Language Therapists, but over time our expertise has grown into a truly multidisciplinary service. Today, our team brings together highly skilled clinicians and practitioners who specialise in supporting neurodivergent people, particularly those with autism and ADHD.

Our diverse team includes Clinical Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Psychiatrists, Mental Health Nurses, Paediatricians, Health Visitors, Specialist Teachers, and BPS-registered Psychologists. Each member has undertaken extensive training in autism and ADHD, combining clinical expertise with real-world insight.

What makes our approach unique is the blend of professional and lived experience within our team. Many of us identify as neurodivergent ourselves or have close personal connections to neurodiversity through family and friends. This perspective deepens our empathy and enhances the quality of care we provide, ensuring our services are both effective and person-centred.

All our clinicians are registered with the relevant professional bodies, including the General Medical Council, Health and Care Professions Council, and the Nursing and Midwifery Council. Every team member holds an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) registration and completes annual mandatory training in areas such as Safeguarding (Level 3), Data Protection and Information Governance, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, and the Oliver McGowan Training on learning disability and autism.

We offer a range of services across the UK, including Speech and Language Therapy assessments and neurodevelopmental diagnostic assessments for autism and ADHD. To make our services as accessible as possible, we also provide remote video-based assessments.
